About this role
Raw footage in, finished videos out.
Quick clarification upfront: you won't be filming anything. No camera, no tripod, no set. You sit at your computer and turn what others shoot into something people actually watch, share, and react to.
We're Brixon Group - a B2B digital agency based in Malta. Small team, real projects, no busywork. Our content goes live, gets measured, and has to perform.
Editing - long-form and short-form
- Cut YouTube videos that run 10-20 minutes and keep viewers watching to the end
- Take that same footage and build TikToks and Instagram Reels that hook people in the first 2 seconds
Sound Design
- Choose music that fits the content
- Place sound effects where they actually have impact
- Balance audio so everything sounds clean
Motion Graphics
- Create text overlays, transitions, and animations
- Work in After Effects or comparable tools
- Visual elements that support the content - not distract from it
Requirements
What you should bring
- Video editing: You can cut. Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci - the software doesn't matter, the craft does
- Timing and storytelling: You know when a cut needs to land hard and when a moment needs room to breathe
- Basic sound design and motion graphics: Doesn't have to be perfect. But you should have actually worked with them before
- Platform awareness: You understand why a YouTube video works differently than a TikTok
- Attention to detail: You notice things. A bad cut bothers you more than it bothers most people
- Fluent German, solid English
- Available in Malta for 4-12 months
